Future of the DW?
There is much discontent with the new DW Organization, especially its failure
to communicate with and 'connect' with the people on whom the Race depends.
The total lack of any postings here is a serious reflection of the dire
position the future of the Race is now in.
It looks like we have replaced one secret organization with another.
I have just received notice of a meeting of those concerned about the future
of the Race as follows:
10am on Sunday 1st July at Wokingham Canoe Club (the new building at
Dreadnought Reach)
Present Directors and Officers have not been invited, apparently.
I probably won't be able to make it to the meeting, so I would appreciate it
if anyone else can attend and report back to this forum the nature and
outcome.
