I have a touring K2 for sale if any one wants to pay £150 for it.
It was bought when my sons were in the Sea Cadet Corps and is the
class of double kayak used by cadets for racing. Our boat has
been modified with improved foot rests and portage handles in
preparation for long distance paddling. ( There is or was a
trophy for this class of boat, paddled by Sea Cadets, in the DW)
My sons trained for this but decided the Souix was unsuitable for
racing in (too heavy, short and wide compared to a racing K2). As
far as I know the trophy has never been claimed. It would make a
good camping boat though as it has plenty of space in it. It is
very stable and has been used to teach nervous paddlers in. It is
a GF boat built by Haze Enterprises in Wiltshire. Blue deck,
white hull and cockpits. Excellent condition. Can deliver within
reason. I'm in Staffordshire.
