 When paddling towards the lock, pass under the left hand side of the
motorway bridge and stay left, keeping well away from the weir. Paddle
towards the lock and portage on the left hand side. Climb over the
railing and portage along the path and put back in after the lock.
Be careful of Chertsey bridge which is only a few metres in front of you
after the portage.
