 When passing under the bridge keep well into the left away from the
weir. Move slightly to the right to pass the right hand side of the
white posts, do not move too far right. The portage is on
the left on the piece of land jutting out just before the lock gates.
Carry your boat over the lock gates and put back in on the left just past
the lock gates. Watch out for the steep steps.
